Everything starts with a first step. At ClickBank, that means creating a primary account; establishing your very own designated account nickname; and updating important information like your payment details (so you can start #makingbank!). Not sure what all that means? No worries. We’ve got the breakdown here.

The onboarding process takes between 2 to 6 weeks, with weekly milestones to ensure smooth progression. The goal is to get your offer ready for transactions as quickly as possible.

First things first, let’s get you an account. Before you get started make sure you have:

    • An email address
    • Chatted with a business development manager

Once you have a primary account, it’s time to create an account nickname.  Account nicknames facilitate sales management, analytics, tracking, and house your awesome products.

You’re not doing this for free. Make sure you add your payment details to your account nickname so we know where to send your hard earned money. Don’t worry–ClickBank tracks all your sales, takes care of taxes, and pays your affiliates their commission on time, every time.

Bringing your product to ClickBank requires some assembly. Part of sellers’ success on this platform is due in part to their ClickBank-specific pages that each play a very important part in the sales funnel.

You will need the following pages:

  1. Front End Landing Page
  2. Thank You Page
  3. Upsell/Downsell pages 
  4. Affiliate tools page. 

And remember! All of this must be compliant.

Something Compliance will be looking for is ClickBank Page Requirements, you will find these in the following link. Please add these to ALL of your pages Digital Page Requirements

As a ClickBank Seller, you have a responsibility to be fair and truthful in your advertorial claims. We’ve put together a handy guide for what you can say and what you definitely cannot say about your product.

The landing page. What is it? How does it work? How to create the very best one that is effective and compliant? We have all of those answers and more in the content linked here. We highly recommend that you pay extra attention to the compliance requirements. It might seem like a lot, but it’s all super important.

NOTE: If your product requires log in information then you will need to pass that to your BDM or Onboarding Specialist.

The “thank you” page is the post-purchase page. It’s the last moment a customer has with your brand and product… or is it? With the right post-purchase care, sellers can create repeat customers with higher average lifetime value than those who don’t nurture the customer relationship. We’ll show you how to create a compliant thank you page that has customers loving (and trusting) your product.

So, here at ClickBank, we give our sellers some pretty awesome tools. One of those tools is called the Upsell. This powerful feature empowers sellers to present potential customers with upsells or downsells, all depending on their sales funnel. What is a sales funnel? Well, dive in and learn more and see what you need to be prepared. 

Note: Upsell functionality is one-click and the customer would not need to go back through an order form or re-enter credit card information.

Two steps down, and now it’s time for your check-in with an onboarding specialist and build out your ClickBank account to start selling.

Now it’s time to create your products and upsell flow in the ClickBank system.

Product Creation:

You can create one-time and recurring products or a mixture of both in your account.

If the compliance team is requesting reviews they will comment on the product ticket within the nickname account. See below for more info.

Upsell Flow Creation:

The Upsell Flow feature allows sellers to add to the value of an order by offering additional related or value-add products to a customer once they’ve purchased an initial product. The consumer only needs to click a single button to immediately buy one or more additional products and charge the payment method used in their original purchase.

The ClickBank Order Form Customizer is a powerful tool that provides ClickBank Sellers with tools to customize their order form to include brand elements, images, information, and styling congruent to their offer page.

Order Bump: A ClickBank feature that allows ClickBank Sellers to add additional product options to an order form for customers to select. The order options are displayed as checkboxes that customers can check if they wish to add the product to their existing order before purchase.

Countdown Timer: This feature has been enhanced to work seamlessly with the order form customizer and can be used to create a sense of urgency for customers, thus boosting conversions.

Exit Offer: The Exit Offer Customizer is a powerful tool that allows you to quickly build, style, add images to, and modify your exit offers. Exit offers are simple modals that load if a user shows intent to exit by moving towards the navigation bar or browser close button while on your order form.

Paylinks: A payment link is the link that customers click that directs them to the ClickBank order form where they can purchase seller products. ClickBank Sellers must manually create their own unique payment link and add it to their Pitch Page.

Shopify Integration: The Shopify-ClickBank integration is ideal for sellers who are currently using Shopify as their primary e-commerce platform. It allows sellers to send all ClickBank orders and customer data back to Shopify without requiring a third party integration.

API Integration: The ClickBank Application Program Interfaces, or APIs, are tools that let you create applications to get information on your account.

Customer Support: Providing customer support is a critical element of your success as a ClickBank Seller. Refund, tech support, and cancellation tickets submitted by your customers can be managed and actioned from your primary ClickBank account. If you have not linked your account nickname to a primary ClickBank account, do so now before proceeding.

Customer support tickets are one of the primary ways customers communicate with ClickBank users. In order to be successful in building their enterprise, ClickBank users (or authorized Clerks) must diligently review and manage their customer support tickets.

 

Marketplace Listing: The ClickBank Marketplace is a space where ClickBank Sellers provide information about the products they offer. Affiliates can search the marketplace to find offers they’re interested in promoting—including their available promotional materials and sales statistics.

Commission Groups: These provide a seller with the ability to offer custom commission rates for select affiliates that differ from their standard settings.

HopLink™: A referral tracking URL is a referral URL that links potential customers to a seller’s landing page and it informs ClickBank which affiliate directed that traffic for commission purposes.

It is very important to test at the end of onboarding. Here are some things you want to look for.
