Compliance & Page Requirements

STEP 2

Compliance & Page Requirements

ClickBank requires that sales pages make reasonable attempts to reflect the actual or typical effort required to achieve typical results. Salesmanship is encouraged, but do not over-embellish; it’s generally unreasonable to assume that someone with little or no experience in Internet marketing can achieve a 6-figure income with an hour or less of effort per day.

It is more reasonable to assume that with attention, effort, and spare time, the average person with little or no Internet marketing experience can achieve a supplemental income.

Earnings Claims: cannot use false or deceptive statements; earnings claims must be substantiated by reliable evidence and reflect typical results. Cannot guarantee results of any kind.

Transparency: must be clear and descriptive about what techniques or tactics the product teaches or utilizes to achieve results for the customer. Claims about a product’s performance or quality must be capable of substantiation.

Testimonials: must be genuine, substantiated, and reflect typical consumer experiences. Deceptive endorsements or fake testimonials are strictly prohibited.

Scarcity & Urgency Claims: claims must be truthful; false statements regarding low stock, baseless countdown timers, limited time offers, exaggerated demand, or misleading purchase activity banners are prohibited.

Pricing: must be clear and easy to understand, free from false discounts, hidden fees, or drip pricing. Additionally, it should avoid preselection, forced continuity, nagging, and confirmation shaming tactics.

Disclaimer: Testimonials, case studies, and examples presented on this page reflect results shared by users of “Enter Product Name” and related products. These do not guarantee that anyone will achieve the same results. While we have made every effort to accurately represent this product and its potential, there is no assurance that you will earn money using the techniques and ideas provided. The earnings statements are examples of the author’s success with these methods and should not be interpreted as promises or guarantees of earnings. Your earning potential is entirely dependent on your own efforts in applying the product, ideas, and techniques.

Product Content:

  • There must be a clear path through the members area / to the product, with directions for the consumer?
  • Is your expertise actually valuable. Can’t be the fist result you put into google.
  • If they buy anything after purchase it needs to be disclosed on the sales page
  • Stating that something is “Done for You” or “Turnkey Systems”, but simply directs the consumers away from the member’s area to a free service online and/or requires additional purchasing is prohibited.
  • Product(s) must be of high quality, professional and compliant. Having non-compliant content will be taken into account when reviewing the product. For example; email swipes, banner ads, images, and other marketing material. Per the FTC, a company may be liable for providing deceptive marketing materials for others to use.
