Back to Basics: 5 Helpful Tips For Your First ClickBank Product Approval

If you’re a vendor and this is your first time going through the product approval process (or just want a refresher) on the ClickBank marketplace, then this is the post for you. Below are five helpful tips as you get your product ready and through the approval process with our Business Services team.

  1. Make sure your product is ClickBank friendly

There are thousands of products on ClickBank- all incredibly different and diverse. We do however have certain parameters in place for the types of products allowed on the platform. Double check the ClickBank Client Contract and under the Vendor and Products Requirement Policy, you’ll see a full list.

  1. You’ll need to create your own Pitch Page and Thank You Page, outside of ClickBank.

You need to have your own registered domain and website hosting outside of ClickBank. Free hosting sites (like Blogspot or Tumblr) are not accepted so make sure to build your own. If you have not already done so, you’ll also need to purchase your own domain name and url, from a site like  ClickBank University also gives you the option to take advantage of Site Builder, which assists you in setting up your entire product funnel with proven to convert templates.

  1. Do you have the right disclaimers and contact info?

When you have taken care of the items in step 2, both your Pitch Page and your Thank You Page require certain ClickBank disclaimers. Make sure they are included, in addition to a contact link or email address on both.

  1. $49.95 activation fee

This is a one-time only activation fee.

  1. CLKBANK on a credit card statement.

Once your product is approved, it will automatically be live and ready for purchase. The transaction appears on credit card statements as CLKBANK or CLICKBANK, so don’t be alarmed if customers have questions down the line.
