The Transactions Reporting feature allows you to run a sales report by various search criteria. The page has two major sections: the Search Criteria box, which lets you set the parameters of your search, and the Search Report area, which presents your search results in tabular format.

  3. Click select next to the End field and then navigate to the same month and date you selected for the Start field.
    • The Start and End dates must match.
  4. Click Go.

The report will show sales transactions for the specific date you selected.

  2. When the calendar appears, navigate to the month and date you want as the beginning point of your date range.

Search by Customer Name

  1. In the Search Criteria box, using the calendars for the Start and End fields, select a date range in which the customer made a purchase, or use a Preset date range.
  2. In the Last Name field, enter the customer’s last name.
    • You can also search by the customer’s last name and first name using the format lastname.firstname (that’s the customer’s last name, then a period, then the customer’s first name) in the Last Name field.
  3. Click Go.

The report will show sales transactions for the customer in the date range you selected. If no results appear in the report as expected, check the following:

  • Verify that the customer’s last name is spelled correctly.
  • If you searched for the customer by last and first name, verify that you entered the name as lastname, a period, and then firstname, such as Smith.Joe.
  • Verify that you entered the customer’s name the same way the customer entered their name when making the purchase (such as searching for “Joe Smith” when the customer entered their name “J. Smith”).
  • Verify you are using the correct date range to locate the customer’s purchase.

Search by Item Number

An Item Number is created for a product when the product is created in the ClickBank system. This search method is used to help you locate how many of a particular item sold for a given date or within a given date range.

  1. In the Search Criteria box, using the calendars for the Start and End fields, select a date range in which customers purchased the item for which you want to search, or use a Preset date range.
  2. Enter the item number in the Item field.
  3. Click Go.

The report will show a list of the specific product that was sold within the date range you selected.

Search by Receipt Number

  1. Enter the receipt number of a specific order in the Receipt field.
  2. Click Go directly under the Receipt field.
    • Clicking the Go button at the lower right of the Search Criteria box will not provide search results for receipt numbers.

The report will show the sales transaction associated with the receipt number for the selected date range.

Search by Customer Email Address

  1. Select a date range, either using the calendars for the Start and End fields, or using a Preset range using the drop down menu.
  2. Enter the customer’s email address in the Email field.
  3. Click Go.

The report will show all of the purchases associated with the customer’s email address for the selected date range. If no results appear in the report as expected, check the following:

  • Verify that the email address is spelled correctly.
  • Verify that you have entered the email address exactly as the customer entered it when he or she made the purchase, such as searching for jsmith@hotmail.com when the customer entered joesmith@hotmail.com.
  • If the customer’s username for their email address is unique, such as ilovepizza123@hotmail.com, you can enter ilovepizza123 in the Email field and search by just that name.
  • Verify you are using the correct date range to locate the customer’s purchase.

Credits and Debits Checkboxes

checkboxes

You can use the checkboxes in the Credits and Debits sections of the Search Criteria box to limit the results of your search query. Select or clear the check boxes under Credits to filter by Sale and/or Bonus or under Debits to filter by any combination of Refund, Chargeback, Bounced, and Charges. Clicking (all) next to either Credits or Debits will select all of the checkboxes under those sections. Clicking (all) again will clear the checkboxes.

Search Results

Once you make your selections and click Go, the search results for your query appear in a table format as follows:
