His presentation was so popular that we asked him to join ClickBank team members Beau Blackwell and Molly Lane to give his presentation again, with a few extra updates to talk about the latest changes.

We’ve talked a lot recently about the emergence of online video in affiliate marketing, and how powerful it can be for selling or promoting digital products. Produced by ClickBank client, Blueprint Information Products, the videos provide step-by-step directions on how to sign up as a ClickBank vendor or affiliate marketer using the site’s English forms. ClickBank officials say the project was needed to remove language barriers for clients who do not feel comfortable working in English.

“We’ve encountered prospective clients that speak rudimentary English but are still challenged by industry-specific terms and technical language on the signup forms,” said Dush Ramachandran, vice president of sales, marketing and business development for ClickBank. “The videos address this, making it easy for European vendors and affiliate marketers to join our network, expand their businesses and boost their income.”

The new how-to videos follow the company’s recent push to expand its platform globally. And with a roster of more than 22,000 affiliate marketers in Europe and roughly 18 percent of ClickBank’s 2009 global annual sales having occurred in the European marketplace, Ramachandran said it makes sense to continue to invest in the European market.

In addition to offering content, and now videos, in multiple European languages, ClickBank also accepts several European currencies including the Euro, the British Pound, and the Swedish and Danish Kroner.

Blueprint Information Products co-founder Steve Clayton commented on his company’s ability to help further globalize ClickBank’s platform saying, “It’s a tremendous opportunity to contribute. We were flattered to be asked to use our expertise to help bring new people into the ClickBank community.”

While at Affiliate Summit East, I had a chance to sit down with successful long-time ClickBank affiliate Scott Wolf, of ArcaMax Publishing. I asked him about a variety of topics, including how he got started with ClickBank, how he identifies which products to promote, and for advice he’d give to beginner affiliates just starting out.

While ArcaMax is different from many ClickBank affiliates, as they promote ClickBank products through email newsletters they publish, his advice and techniques still hold true for many affiliates. Check out the interview now:

ClickBank vendor Jeff Mulligan has created a very useful video showing how he increased sales for one of his ClickBank products over 22% by using a simple technique that only takes a few minutes to put in place. There are no tricks or gimmicks here: Jeff’s technique just increases customers’ willingness to buy by increasing their level of trust and making sure they know what to expect throughout the sales process.

This is especially important when you send customers to an order form that looks different from your main website. Although this video is specifically geared toward ClickBank vendors, there’s no reason affiliates who have their own website couldn’t try it too, by showing a screenshot of the landing page they’re sending customers to next. As Jeff states, you should always be testing. So if you’re an affiliate, give this technique a try and leave a comment to let us know if it helped your sales.
