In my experience as a client relations and communications rep in the workforce, I found that building relationships or trust with the people I interacted with, whether in person, by phone or via email, forged better and faster positive responses to whatever services I or the companies I represented had to offer. In some cases, building that trust was based simply on acknowledging the other person's concerns and responding accordingly or showing that I cared about what the other person/people cared about at any given point and time. It was like MrRoadRage said - "If you want to have a friend, be a friend first". Of course, building trust or positive relationships can take time and patience, especially in the online marketing world I would think. I'm a "newbie affiliate" too.
