ClickBank’s Great New Features

Posted by: Beau Blackwell, Community Manager

Earlier this week, we released several major improvements to our system that will help both vendors and affiliates grow and improve their businesses. In case you missed them, here’s a recap of what we released.

Help Center

You’ve probably already seen the new Help Center tab on the right-hand side of our navigation bar, but if not, be sure to check it out! The Help Center contains many new articles for both affiliates and vendors, covering everything from creating a ClickBank account to attracting more affiliates and learning about common ways to promote products. It’s a great place to look for any information you need about being more successful as a ClickBank client.

New & Improved Client Analytics

We’ve made major improvements to our Client Analytics, allowing you to see more detail than ever about your sales and promotions. Our improved Client Analytics lets you look at trends, order form impressions data, reporting by various dimensions like geographic location, and more.

To view the new Client Analytics, log in to your account and click the Reporting tab. Then click Analytics NEW! on the right side of the subnav:

To read more about all the features Client Analytics has to offer, and how to use it, see our Help Center article.

Integrated Sales Reporting

Clients can now track successful orders (conversions) by linking the ClickBank order process to Google Analytics, Google AdWords, and Yahoo Search Marketing, giving you more information about sales and the effectiveness of promotional efforts than ever before.

Read more about Integrated Sales Reporting in the Help Center.

ClickBank API

The ClickBank API makes it possible for a wide range of computer programs to securely access ClickBank account information on behalf of ClickBank account owners. Some of the functions available to users of the API include the ability to:

  • Request a refund for a customer’s purchase
  • Request a cancelation for a customer’s subscription
  • Retrieve a list of transactions in a ClickBank account for a given timeframe

I really like the new client analytics feature. Nice easy overview to see lots of customer stats. (and almost “customer” stats). nice

The improvements sound great, I cannot wait to get started!

  • The new analytics are very informative, it really shows a LOT, now we get to see patterns of affiliate activity. I’m surprised more affiliates don’t click all the way through to the order form, that’s the first thing they should do, to make sure their Clickbank name is at the bottom of the order forms for all the programs they are promoting.

I especially like the pie-chart feature, we can see that the few are doing the most! I don’t know why more affiliates don’t advertise more, the earnings are FREE. Clickbank is a monumental money machine, all people need to do is get prospects to the sites, it’s easier than standing on the side of the road dressed as a pizza-slice, and it pays much more!!

  • The new analytics feature for affiliates is impressive. One thought/request, though: I would like for there to still be one-click access to a “Today” list of transactions. I know I can get this by setting the date range start and end dates to today, but a “Today” view accessible by a single click would be handy. That was what I used the most in the old analytics page (which I understand will be going away soon).

I likewise like the new analytics. They have a lot of great info that I find useful. Good job.

I think the new Analytics page is great…until I want to check it out with my iPhone. Then it’s terrible. PLEASE don’t deprecate the old analytics pages. That’s the only way I can check it on my iPhone.

  • CB RSS Feeds says:

The new analytics options are great, but here’s a tip:
Put yesterday as on option in the “Date Range” pull down menu.

  • sipidity says:

Is there a way that the analytics shows location data? and if so, where can I find it? thanks.

  • Beau Blackwell, ClickBank says:

    Sipidity,

Sorry, location data isn’t included at this time.

  • Danh says:

This is great. Please keep the improvements coming, especially in the mobile arena.
