Weekly Payments, Anyone?

Posted by: Michael Poston, Product Manager

During our recent Advisory Board meeting, we announced our intention to introduce Direct Deposit payments for our clients, and each of the participants provided similar feedback: that Direct Deposit and shorter payment cycles would really help them manage their cash flow.

For this reason, in the coming weeks, ClickBank will offer the choice of weekly or biweekly payments via Direct Deposit (ACH & XACH) into both domestic and international bank accounts for eligible clients. For more information on Direct Deposit eligibility, please refer to the following Direct Deposit documentation.

With weekly payments, and our already low payment threshold, ClickBank makes it possible to reinvest your profits quickly, with double the number of paydays. Ultimately, this will allow your business to be more agile and profitable than ever!

Remember, your input shapes our roadmap. It is our goal to deliver products and features that are in demand, and to help our clients run their businesses more effectively. Please comment below and let me know what features you think are important!

Happy selling, friends!

I have to say thank you for this. This is one of the greatest moves I could think of and it wasn’t on my mind. I was thinking more about my cash flow with my bills.

This rocks and I think this will attract a lot of webmasters to your service.

    Thanks again,
    Chris

Without a doubt a very good move. Not only will this keep existing clients happy, it’s going to attract new affiliates too.

    Thanks!

Wouldn’t this be available for cheques? Clickbank doesn’t allow direct deposit in India yet and I am making good enough money. It would be highly appreciated if you could provide weekly payments through cheques as well.

Awesome! ClickBank keeps on improving, this is amazing. I will miss opening the mailbox and finding a check from ClickBank, but I will get over it.
    Thanks,

    Hi,

Clickbank is great and I love promoting its products. This new step by clickbank is very important but at the same time I would request the clickbank management to include the names of more countries like Pakistan, Bangladesh etc so that brilliant people living there may share in the growth of clickbank and its merchants.
    Thanks
    Waseem Dar

Good job Clickbank - you’re finally starting to compete! :)

Next, you need to lower your fees and get rid of the “allowance” feature. With Paypal, I can withdraw my funds every day without an “allowance.” Not only that, but they only have $0.30+2.9% fees, not $1+7.5%!

    Thank You !

Great to hear. Now all you need to do is remove the CDR requirements and it will be an excellent service!

I agree with Keith. Paypal forwards all money IMMEDIATELY into your checking account–no minimum amount of sales required! This requirement is particularly onerous to someone (like myself) who is just getting started and just learning how to make sales online. I am also a little upset that Paypal transactions don’t count towards the CDR! I really don’t understand that at all–except, of course they are your competitor, so I guess that’s the reason, kind of stupid if you ask me.

A great feature! It would be really great if you can extend it to Asian countries too. A large number of affiliates are making up from Asia too.

You also need to expand your wings, you need to accept more people from other countries rather than net-locking other people from countries in africa from benefiting from your programs, i must say that its unfair. Remember that people in africa are poor and bringing your program to their reach would really change not their life but yours too. I hope my voice would be heard.

As a new affiliate, it is very frustrating to see money here @ clickbank and I can’t have it. I do need all money as soon as possible, not when you decide I have made enough to release it.

I am on a very limited budget and any small money would help me to advertise more.

The excitement of finally seeing that some of your ads are working is being lost because of the “No you can’t have it yet because I said so” attitude of clickbank.

Direct deposits are great, but again, clickbank put limits on when you can finally start doing that. They want to waste time, money, to mail 3 regular checks 1st then, they will finally let you have your money, again when and how they say.

Good start with weekly payments, but if you really want to grow, then please consider fixing your other issues, so that we can all make more money and be paid faster.

    Regards.

I am new and learning, and of course, spending too much on Google as I learn. OF COURSE weekly payments would be great for our ad expenses but while you are doing this, I just don’t get the deal with the 5 different cards and not a pay pal charge before we can get out first ever check. I am sorry, but what does that have to do with the price of cotton?

  25. Mark said,

    September 4, 2008 @ 5:52 pm

Yes, I too would love the option of 2-weekly payments, this will help cash flow enormously.

One other thing, as an Australian business owner, when is CB going to get with the times, and offer curencies other than USD$??? Like AUD$?

    cheers, Mark

    Hi Gail,

Thank you for voicing your concern over the Customer Distribution Requirement (CDR)! The rule was put into place because of affiliates taking advantage of the system. Here is an example of what was happening and why we had to add the CDR… Unfortunately, there were affiliates that were using their ClickBank accounts for the sole purpose of making their own purchases through their own Hoplinks - in other words, getting a “rebate” or “discount” on every product they purchased through ClickBank. Requiring 5 purchases on different credit cards allows us to prevent this.

Also, I wanted to let you know about a change we’re making that will help out clients. Starting in our Sept 9 release, Paypal will count towards the “two different payment methods” requirement we currently have. Although Paypal payments won’t count toward the 5 credit card transactions required, it will help in the case that you only receive payments from Visa cards, for example.

I hope that helps explain why we have the requirement. We appreciate the feedback!

Its a Shame that you are not working with pakistan…there are always other ways around…how do you think the other companies are doing it? why dont you just set some extra verification’s for people that belong to countries where there are frauds! or even review their website and applications…but this is not smart to just block off a whole country.
